Halloween Stuff

Hey guys!

Here are some cool Halloween ideas:
COSTUMES: Homemade costumes are cool and easy. Find out what you are going to be, and grab some clothes that whoever or whatever you are going to be would wear. You could buy some accessories to add a little to the costume.
Last year I was a hippie. I went to the nearest costume store and bought big peace sign earrings, old-fashioned glasses, and fake flowers. I used some clothes that I found from when my cousins were little. They were perfect! I used a jean vest and I found some bell-bottom pants. I found an awesome pink shirt, too. I attached the earrings, put on the glasses, and stuck the blue flowers in my hair. It looked awesome. This year I'm going to be a mime. (Those people who don't talk on purpose and just use actions) I'm going to wear a striped shirt and black leggings. I have a French beret that I'm going to wear. I am going to paint my face white and put red lipstick on. Easy, huh?

DECORATIONS: For decorations, we buy pumpkins and straw each year fro the front of my house. We use different lights and decorations each year that we didn't use last year. I think it looks awesome every time. We have skeleton heads and pumpkin lights. We have monsters and pirate skeletons. You could also make homemade decorations. Paper ghosts and witches, lighted candles, or anything you can think of! Here is a link to find out what and how: http://iblue.hubpages.com/hub/Top-10-Halloween-Homemade-Decorations

Traditions: For cool and spooky traditions, you can boo somebody. To boo somebody, get a bag (one that you would put a gift in). Make up a poem, or look up poems for booing people. Print or write the poem out and stick it into the bag. at the end of the poem, if not already there, write, "Now it is your turn to boo somebody" or anything like that. Put candy in the bag and secretly put it on someone's doorstep and ring the doorbell. Run, so they can't see who gave it to them. Here are some poems I found on the web for booing people: http://leladavidson.hubpages.com/hub/Halloween-Boo-Poems-and-Signs

Have a fun Halloween!

Sincerely,
Emma
